Frequently asked

Questions

How long will you have my quilt?

During peak times, we may have your quilt 8-10 weeks.  Most of the time, we will have your quilt 3-4 weeks.  We do offer RUSH service for an additional fee if you need it sooner.

do I choose the design and thread?

Yes, once you have completed your paperwork, we will send you a link to choose from 1,000 of designs.  You also may be as specific or general regarding thread.  We will do our absolute best to get you exactly what you want.

can i quilt it myself?

Absolutely!  We are taking reservations for rental time on our Gammill Bison 2.-0 machines.  Your rental price includes a one-time certification class.  In general, it will cost you about 1 cent more per square inch to do it yourself in comparison to having us quilt it.  However, there is great satisfaction in doing it yourself!!

What do i need to do to prepare my quilt to mail?

Before packaging your quilt top, do a once over to ensure there are no open seams as they can get hung up in our machine.  If you have your backing, measure that it is eight inches wider than your quilt top both in length and width.  If you have not pieced your top, please notify us ahead of time and we can add that to your service.

Additionally, you can order your backing backing from us and we will piece it together free of charge..  One more thing! Batting is included with your machine quilting order for free!

can i come visit your studio?

We would love for you to visit if you are local or passing through the area.  Join a class, shop batiks, drop of your quite top or just stop by to say hi.  We are here M_F 10-4 PST or by appointment.
